Bit.Sea can be used in various scenarios: for example, it may operate within a production environment to support a processing chain, or it can serve as an interactive tool for exploring data produced by different models.

This means that certain features useful in one context may become unnecessary or burdensome in another. The most representative case are the dependencies needed by the plotting tools: those are quite complex and will never be used in a production environment.

To accommodate this, dependencies should be organized into distinct groups, allowing the end user to decide which features to install based on their specific needs.
