Hang on Restart/Shutdown

When I shut down or restart a virtual machine, I'm seeing an issue where it sometimes (usually?) hangs before completing the power-down. The VMs are running 13.6, the hosts 13.4/13.6.

Manully closing the VM window and starting again generally works, although I have had one or two images which remained in a stuck state when restarting.

I imagine that this is an issue with the underlying virtualisation and not VirtualBuddy per-se, but posting here in case anyone has a workaround!
