Error trying to resume paused vm

New user here... just installed latest VirtualBuddy... and every time I try to pause and unpause a VM... it gives an error message and won't start the VM! (Until I completely close out and relaunch the entire VirtualBuddy.)

Steps to recreate:

1. Created VM running macOS Sonoma 14.4 (see screenshot below of options selected)
2. Run the VM... everything is fine...
3. Pause the VM
4. Close the VM window
5. Open the VM window again (from main VirtualBuddy launcher window)
6. Try to Resume the VM
7. Error!

Error Message:

The machine has stopped due to an error: Error Domain=VZErrorDomain Code=2 "Failed to lock auxiliary storage." UserInfo= NSLocalizedFailure= Invalid virtual machine configuration., NSLocalizedFailureReason=I-ailed to lock auxiliary storage. NSUnderlyingError=0x6000008960d0 Erro
Domain=NsrosixErrorDomain code=so "Kesource temporarliy unavallable"

Configuration Options for my VM (I chose mostly default options)

Any ideas? Is this a known bug?

Thanks for reporting.

I believe this is a bug caused by the VM not being properly terminated by VirtualBuddy after it's stopped. I'm investigating.

@insidegui It's because the VM isn't being stopped at all when you close the window of a paused VM. Here's a short (+10/-3) PR to fix this bug: #389
