The way I'm currently going about providing color for the In/Out prompts is by just hardcoding it. After I wrap my head around what changes are necessary to get this functionality, we should expose is as a configurable - possibly respecting either the old way of selecting the colors of the prompts, or using the same keys that the prompt_toolkit frontend in IPython now uses.
