It's time for our first update, and as promised, the app now works in landscape on iPhone/iPod and portrait on iPad!

Some other things we've improved:
• Better at restoring state when resuming the app
• Settings for keeping the screen on, adjusting the background disconnect timeout, and opening links in Chrome
• Better link detection
• Launching the app from a notification now scrolls to the highlighted message
• Conversations can now be deleted without archiving first
• Fixed some issues with loading extra backlog
• Hide the user list when being kicked from a channel
• Hide the edit topic button if you don't have permissions to modify the topic
• Notification of new highlights in other conversations
• /me messages from ignored users are no longer visible
• Fix an issue where certain characters could prevent you from logging in
• Plenty more minor bug fixes and improvements
