Preserve lastUpdate when doing a Merge #1

When doing a Merge, the field lastUpdate is not copied over and defaults to 0.

What I am propose is to copy the highest lastUpdate value for each id of the new vector or setting the lastUpdate of all items to the highest lastUpdate of them.
