In the toolbar or the Extensions menu, this extension causes a permanent "Permissions needed" bubble below the icon.

The permissions for the two remarkable subdomains have already been granted. Additionally, after sending a page to the device, the green bubble disappears, but reappears immediately on a page reload.

+1 it does look like the extension is broken.
