Description of the bug

Related to https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-media-player/releases/download/v1.11.1/JellyfinMediaPlayer-1.11.1-windows-x64.exe

When using the application on a Windows 11 machine with dual monitors, moving the app to the secondary monitor causes the right-click functionality (and drop-down menus) to stop working. Additionally, if the application is closed on the secondary monitor and relaunched, it opens out of bounds on that monitor. Recovery requires either disabling the secondary monitor or manually moving the window via keyboard shortcuts.

Reproduction steps

  1. Launch the application on the primary monitor.
  2. Drag the application window to the secondary monitor.
  3. Attempt to use right-click functionality or drop-down menus (they no longer work).
  4. Close the application while it is on the secondary monitor.
  5. Relaunch the application.
Observe that the application is now positioned out of bounds on the secondary monitor.

What is the current bug behavior?

  • After moving to the secondary monitor, the right-click and drop-down menus do not respond.
  • Upon closing and reopening on the secondary monitor, the window launches out of bounds. The only workaround is to disable the secondary monitor or use keyboard shortcuts (Alt + Tab, then Alt + Space, then select Move) to reposition the window.

What is the expected correct behavior?

  • Right-click and drop-down menus should work normally on any monitor.
  • When relaunched, the application should appear within the visible bounds of the monitor, regardless of which monitor it was closed on.

By "the application" are you referring to Jellyfin Media Player?
