Dear John,
I am a bit disappointed that a pandoc-markdown.xml is missing in the xml directory.
Adding this would render several kate based editors (including Qt Creator) more proficient in highlighting Pandoc Markdown.
Yes, I know, it is a bit of a catch22 ;-)
