I'm not too familiar with trpc but I totally get the use case here. Great job writing an adapter for it.
I notice the description mentions content and background scripts, and the demo shows a popup to background.
What are the options for arbitrary inter-process communication?
In chrome's messaging, you effectively target all processes, and the individual processes decide if they will respond and return a result.
Is anything like that built into this library? Could you target a tab from the background, for example? Or a tab from another tab?
