@Alkarex I'm starting to investigate adding a user label. Is there an API to read or edit the user label's filter actions?

Relatedly, I tried to download News+ my old Nexus 5 but was unable add the gReader extension. If you still have the app installed, could you share any UI related to their implementation?

@Alkarex I'm starting to investigate adding a user label.

Excellent news :-)

Is there an API to read or edit the user label's filter actions?

User labels (also called tags) can be edited via the GReader API using the edit-tag function (see also the related rename-tag and disable-tag).

However, there is no API to edit the FreshRSS's filter actions associated to a user label, which is not a concept that existed in GReader. I would be open to extending the API, though.

If the problem is that you are lacking the APK, I can mail them to you. I will try to install it again on an old device and provide some screenshots.

Here is already a copy from another thread:

P.S.: I can see that FeedMe has support for editing labels, for a similar example of UI.

Long click on an item / article:

UI to edit the user labels associated to an article (note that there is a bug as it mixes user labels and categories):

Thanks as always @Alkarex. I'll investigate FeedMe's UI to see how they support labels and follow up here.
