I am thinking about what to do in the next releases of grott and like to hear your ideas and comments.

Release planning for now (no fix dates, no commitment)

• 2.7.7
  last 2.7.x release. Will be made master in October (latest in docker)
  Include pull request Add an inverter serial <-> inverter type map #169 Add a data logger serial <-> inverter type map
  Documentation update needed: describe last parametesr update, HA usage / how to (I need help with this)
  Grottserver stays in Beta (wiki page on how to use will be made)

• 2.8.x
  Improve PVOutput support
  Ability to specify the variables to be sent to PVOutput
  Grottserver stays in Beta (updates made to improve the beta, look into the improvements proposed by others (eg Rany2)

*2.9.x

• Auto detect for SPF, SPH, TL3 inverters
• Enhanced (full) record layout for SPH / SPF TL3-X

Integration Grott / Grottserver
Enable API commands in proxy mode

To be plannend:

• Possibility to deactivate Verbose in Grott Container
• Format negative (smartmeter) values to positive (absolute value)

Under investigation

• Grottserver API for retrieving values from input register (Grott hold latest data values).
• Better processing for shinemaster
