If you have any issues with Snap install replacing font with squares □□□□□□□□ in modals

On some config (it was my case) you can have issues with modals displaying squares instead of text content. In that case you have ton install Roboto font on your system!

Oh wow! This is kind of unexpected tbh. Would not have expected one to be affected by the other since the modals are a system thing, while Roboto is only used via css.

I'm not super familiar with Electron and never worked on any project using it but by any chance could this be linked to the fact that in page.scss you define the font family like this: "font-family: 'Roboto', 'Comic Sans MS';" without opening to the possibility of default system font as a fallback?

I'd have to conduct some tests though to be sure that's it.

Is there something in the app I can do that triggers everytime a dialog? Because I don't know what does and to test it further it would be simpler to have a way to provoke the appearance of a dialog other than by chance when there is an error or something (recently I had dialogs appearing because I had 0ko available on my disk space)

To provoke a Dialog:

1. First create a manual backup of your data to be save (settings/import&export).
2. Open the dev tools via Ctrl+Shift+i
3. Navigate to the "Application" tab.
4. Select storage from left hand menu
5. Select all options and click on "Clear site data"

This should provoke a couple of dialogs.
