How do I import Google Calendar once and for all? #3570
-
TL;DR - Trying to import a GCal ics/ical file (NOT URL) into Super Productivity but nothing shows up on the app at all. I'm trying to switch my calendar and other apps to Super Productivity since it's literally the only app that fulfills all my needs (incl. being OSS), and so I tried to import my iCal file into Super Productivity. What I did is I went into Global Settings>Calendar>Add iCal source and then filled in the information (filepath /home/name/Public/path/[email protected]), keep in mind I am not using an iCal link but rather the iCal file you can export from GCal, well it's an ics file but I googled and the formats are apperantly interchangable, and I did try it with both extensions. After that I would assume that it would show all my old timeblocks (used to timeblock on GCal), but it doesn't, my newest stuff is from 1. October so idk if that might be a reason. I tried going into the Worklog and into Quick History, but nothing is showing, like nothing literally 0 tasks, I tried checking from both the "Today" Tab and the Project tab I added the GCal to. I am using the .deb version on Debian. I didn't really change anything else other than language (I set it back to English for the screenshots).
Help would be very much appreciated |

Hey hey! The calendar integration is intended to be used with "Planner" and "Schedule" where future events show up and can be imported as a task. Quick history and worklog will only show events that have been imported as tasks (so nothing when you never manually converted an event to a task). |
