Manual login requiring an @ in the login name #22
Comments
I have the same issue. Provider is 1blu.de |
It's uncommon for me to see an email address without an @ sign. Then what will you enter in the email field, username or mailbox, as mentioned in the 1blu.de IMAP config? |
It isn't an E-Mail address. There is a seperae login username, that is not represented by the corresponding e-mail-address. So thanks for removing the "@"-sign checker |
same issue here as well, I am selfhosting my email server on a Synology NAS, also here the username to login into imap is not the email address, but rather the name of the user on the NAS. |
Same issue here, running Postfix on one of my servers. The field being labelled 'Email Address' should really be labelled 'Login Username', and shouldn't require an @. |
My e-mail login with my provider is not the same as the e-mail address and does not contain an @ in so I am unable to use this to log in. Is it possible to remove the requirement for an @ in the login username for providers that issue a separate login rather than using an e-mail address?
