Use this theme when you want to have use WordPress as a headless CMS which only serves data to some other front-end systems. Headless WP will redirect users which may go to the URL directly. For instance, you may have a URL of https://example.com but you want to use it for your front-end views. You can point your WordPress installation to use a subdomain of data.example.com. Data from WordPress can be pulled from data.example.com into the front-end which uses example.com. This is a way to use one domain and subdomain combination on two websites.
