simple bare-bones FastAPI app. cannot browse to the site in codespaces.

steps to reproduce:

  • cd to src folder
  • run in terminal: uvicorn main:app --reload
  • see the popup that the port is exposed and ready to browse
  • try to browse to the site
  • see the failure
    fastapi_1_running
    fastapi_2_popup
    fastapi_3_loading
    fastapi_4_failed504
