LiDAR Modifications Thread

Making an issue to discuss the viability of modifications to these lidar units. For example, I'm trying to swap out the laser/filters to use blue light so that I can use these underwater. No success so far with the Hitachi-LG HLS-LFCD3. I think that the laser I'm using draws too much amperage out of it compared to the super tiny IR laser built into it.
