Details on Projects

I've been a little confused on how to use the projects tab. It appears to only show projects that are in progress, but after completed it seems they disappear. I'm the type of person that loves to see checkmarks checked off and 100% progress on items/projects so I can feel like I've knocked something out, is there anyway to toggle through projects that are on the projects tab? The way I imagine it in my mind is that I can have some group of projects filtered and I can see the percentages of them done.
