Microsoft has funded KEDA with Microsoft Azure sponsorship to help run Azure Kubernetes Service to run e2e tests on and provide Azure resource to verify autoscaling for. This sponsorship was about to expire on May 1st, 2025.

However, we still strongly believe KEDA is a unique value to the Kubernetes community. As a result, Microsoft is extending its Azure sponsorship with 2 more years until May 1st, 2027!
