Using v2.8.0 Snapshot

I think it may be almost a year that I'm using v2.8.0 snapshots as my regular KPXC app.
I have never encountered any problem and in combination with KeePassDX I have not experienced any incompatibilities.
So, all in all these snapshots appear to stable enough, and for me as Dutch language translator it's a good environment to verify new/updated translations.

But checking the recent v2.8.0 Milestone page, I noticed this one item in red that is making me awry: WIP Qt6 transition.

I guess now, that it's deemed risky to use the v2.8.0 Snapshot as one's daily driver.
@droidmonkey, @varjolintu, do you have any recommendations, such as:

• Stop using v2.8.0 Snapshots right away and return to 2.7.9
  And do translation testing on a separate installation of v2.8.0 Snapshot (is that possible?)
• Or just carry on, continue reporting encountered issues AND make sure to save database backups at regular intervals
• ...

The Qt6 transition is only merged after we can ensure everything really works. Before that it will not be in the snapshot build.

The Qt6 transition may cause various UI issues, but besides that, nothing much should happen. If you keep backups of your DB (you should do that anyway), nothing bad should happen. Worst case, a 2.8 snapshot doesn't start on your system. In that case, just downgrade to a previous snapshot or 2.7.
