date/time automatically becomes incorrect when editing a convo event (updates to current date/time)

when i edit a convo event as the organizer, it automatically defaults to updating the time and date to right now, instead of the original date/time planned for the convo event. i justed added the telegram chat link to the Vancouver summer soiree, and date/time went from June 13 at 7pm local time to today 2:45 pm ET. see image below.

it's deceiving because if the organizer doesn't check each field to confirm everything is correct, they wouldn't know that the date/time automatically changed.
