There have been 3-4 reports over time where someone tries to post a (roughly) weekly event, but somehow the output comes out with duplicates dates, wrong times, etc. (See screenshot below).

The RFC will perhaps solve this mostly, by making it a weekly event by default and making it harder to have these types of duplicates.

It is worth noting that Antonio wanted to post it almost weekly, but with one exception.

He posted:

  • Weekly on Thursday at 1PM ET
  • Except for July 25, where he can't make Thursday. So he chose Friday, July 26.

The RFC won't allow for this exception, but maybe that is okay, because event series are hard and we only have one maintainer on Convo for now.

But the proposer, in this case, did want it mostly weekly at 1pm EST with one exception.

yeaa the rfc change will be fixing this
