The kernelci-frontend project is using Python 2.x and it needs to be migrated to Python 3. The plan is to:

upgrade to use the latest versions of its dependencies, still with Python 2.x
rewrite any part of the code that depends on some deprecated packages
migrate the resulting code to Python 3
