Likewise, it is annoying to have to manually close the catalog import every time, if no catalog is used in the project. I would like to see such presets in project settings (if dialog should show / which OPAC should be selected)

A likely behavior was implemented in #4325 by @solth

#4325 only adds the option to configure a global default OPAC, not on a per project base, so I think this issue should remain open until it can be dealt with in the context of #4322
