The latest version(2013.05-23) of codesourcery lite does not work. you'll need codesourcery lite version 2012.03-56.
it will create a bin file, and you can flash it, but afterwards windows won't see the 4pi.
re-making with version 2012.03-56 of codesourcery does work.
I also found the latest version of codesourcery installed it with the wrong PATH environment variable.)

I'd be interested if anyone can find something similar we can use to make under windows that doesn't ask you to hand out your personal details.
SAM-BA also wants this. BOSSA is good though.

Instead of codesourcery you could use this one: https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded
I found it yesterday and compiling works just fine.
