Notes

How useful are they compared to for example youtube videos?

  • in-person makes it possible to ask questions
  • half day is too short, so only the basis are covered, you only get the lecture which are already there (and better) on youtube
  • how to deal with various level of competence of the public
  • Could there be a 1 day kokkos for beginners, 1 day advanced kokkos, then 1 day for questions
  • beginners hackathon seems much better model than the tutorial
