Hello,

I have a Deezer family premium account, and on family accounts there is profile. The problem is on your phone or anything you have one account and switch between profiles.
So it would be great if you could include that in the addon, I checked and I'm pretty sure it's possible with the API by asking account's followers, list them to the user and ask him which one to choose.
Since the code is python, I'll watch too when I'll have the time.

Thanks

Valentin

As the owner seems to be inactive (at least on this repo).
I've forked it and made it work for family profiles.

Thanks for taking your time to look into it. However, I am unsure how you select the desired profile, could you elaborate on that?

Hi and sorry for the late reply,

The official Deezer API doesn't provide the profiles of an account.
However I have found a workaround to be to query for the main account's followings.

It is strange but it turns out the main profile automatically follows the secondary profiles. You can see that by selecting the main account then parameters (the gear icon) and followers and followings are shown right at the top (on smartphone but shouldn't be too different on browser).

If you didn't know you can follow others account but I think it almost never used by anyone.

The obvious limitation is that if you happen to follow anyone else then you will see it in your profiles, but even with that it's usable.
Maybe someday Deezer will decide to include querying for profiles in his API... who knows ...

I'd happily use unofficial api. Will take a bit of time of reverse eng
