I had SVG and a div to output a bookmark icon, but upon upgrading that field refuses to save that HTML and only saves text.

I have the same problem. I also had a SVG icon setup as custom markup. It was removed and i can´t add anything back in the setting field

yeah I was considering directly updating the SQL (wp_options) but rolled back instead

same here, custom svg is removed
