Doesn't work on new 24H2 Update

Doesn't work on this current OS Build 26100.2314, just says applying then not applied - screen goes black and does nothing.

You shouldn't install 24H2 unless the update is available through Windows Update, which means that it's compatible with your hardware.

In the case of my Asus laptop, 24H2 still isn't officially available and installing it using other methods results in DWM LUT breaking GPU acceleration in all web browsers, as well as Photoshop 2025.

Well it is available through Windows Update, and doesn't that just mean poor coding, he hasn't updated the code to work for other versions on windows seems like he's lazy to me, ill just do it myself.

To be fair, since the current dev takes no money for maintaining DWM LUT, so we must accept the fact that he can work on the project only in his spare time. Moreover, MS really messed 24H2 up.

probably will work but need older driver, even works with windows 11 26120.4015 build but using only 552.44 nvidia drivers, any drivers with WDDM 3.2 support doesn't work, just black screen and inactive

Unfortunately does not work, I can confirm. I will stick to older windows in hope dwm_lut gets fixed.

These things are not very easy and "has no time" and "is lazy" are different things. Also there isn't always a quick fix or an instant solution, not to mention when it comes to a hack like this injecting into dwm.

Let's stay respectful, the original repo was left in the dust at least this one was working for a while.

Also you have no contributions on this or other repos afaiks so at least don't talk down to the only person who fixed this thing for the last few Windows updates.

24H2 is a massive mess-up on Microsoft's part. Today I saw a guy complain about a constant CPU load after installing this unfortunate update.
