user management not working in dokuwiki

When you use this plugin with the latest dokuwiki release, the user list in the user manager doesn't show any user at all. Usermanagement can still be done via the owncloud web interface, and login is possible, both in owncloud and dokuwiki, though.
in the owncloud logs i get these PHP errors related to the authowncloud plugin:
