Most of the Orange Pi boards (ex. One, Lite, PC, PC Plus, etc) have a "power button" on the board.

As of Lakka 2.0 RC 4 this button does nothing.

I have read that the button isn't hardwired for power on/off, but rather a basic button connected to the GPIO - due to this it could never start the board cold (AFAIK).
However, it could be used to suspend/wake up the system.

There was some upstream work on this done here: jernejsk/OpenELEC-OPi2#12
Edit - this is actually 100% working in the OpenELEC port (at least on Orange Pi Lite, just tested it).
