Check makedumpfile dump_level in kdump.conf before triggering kdump #12

kdump failed to collect vmcore because "makedumpfile dump_level"  was set to 1 in /etc/kdump.conf file as mentioned below

core_collector makedumpfile -c --message-level 1 -d 1

Proposed solution

  1. Ensure  makedumpfile dump_level is set to value 31 (-d 31), which will apply filter while collecting vmcore and collects only required data, if it's not set to 31 then servicereport tool should display Warning message before triggering dump
