Hello,

This extension only affects windows with server-side decorations (those rendered by the cinnamon window manager).
With Wayland, applications manage their own decorations (a.k.a. client-side decorations - using things like GTK CSD, libdecor, etc).
There's no way for this extension to modify the shadow of these windows, since the shadow is rendered by the applications themselves.

The easiest solution is to modify the GTK theme you're using (this will have an impact on windows using GTK CSD and libdecor).

Note: There is an experimental protocol to support server-side decorations under Wayland (here). I don't know if this is really a good idea and if Cinnamon plans to support it at some point.
