Applet icons sometimes appearing in double #103
Comments
Same problem here! System: Kernel: 5.4.0-64-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 9.3.0 Desktop: MATE 1.24.0 Distro: Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa |
Hello! But seems that it was solved with update (apt-get update; apt-get upgrade)
|
Here we go again. It appeared either when I switched to Mint 21.1 (from Mint 19.3, where the issue didn’t occur) or when I updated from 21.1 to 21.2. Logging out and back in doesn’t always solve the problem, i.e. I have to do that one, two or three times. Sometimes both network and volume icon appear in double, sometimes only the volume icon. |
I am still having this issue, with all updates installed. |
Is this not a MATE panel issue? https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-panel |
When booting, applet icons (mostly NetworkManager Applet) often appear in double. Logging out and in again solves the problem.
