Hi, This is a cool resource, thanks! Are there any links between the STAC Collections and the NZ elevation survey index? Perhaps title property matches the name attribute of the NZ elevation survey index? Cheers, Ogi

Not yet. Title and name will be similar but not identical. I think we will eventually host the index alongside the STAC Collections, and generate all of the metadata for it as an automated part of the data preparation.

However we have been working on:

.. with merged national Hillshades and DSM still to come.

After this we'll probably focus on standardising the point clouds and making them available from the same public S3 bucket before we get around to further improving the metadata.

We could potentially add an S3 link to the NZ Elevation Survey Index earlier, if that helps?

Thank you, great to know about that mosaic product. No need to prioritise that work, I was just curious after doing some tests of the catalog in python. I was just playing around with the Collections and loading a selection of Items intersecting an area of interest into a lazy xarray DataArray, for mosaicing or some spatial ops. Was just curious if I could optimise the geospatial filtering using the grid layouts on the LINZ Data service, as at the moment I'm iterating over each item.
