Is there a way to use multiple messages.po files? I have some translations that I would like to be edited by hand, but some that I want to edit by scripts (and not directly in source). Is it possible to separate these out — perhaps also by areas.

When I search on the web, I’ve only seen examples of a single file and I would like to know if it is possible to use multiple files.

it depends on babel package, go to http://babel.pocoo.org/en/latest/ for details
