As per title really...

Consider adding -buildmode=pie and -trimpath to your build flags.

trimpath would be nice to get closer to a reproduce-able build. I'm not entirely sure of a obvious benefit to setting it to PIE

Do you have a direct motivation to having the binary be a PIE one?
