Summary

The docs site has a Publications page that is even more out-of-date than the CHS Publications page. We should either update this docs page and try to keep it in sync with the CHS page, or remove the docs version and just provide a link from the docs to the CHS Publications page.

Adding over here some discussion from Slack and additional thoughts so they don't get lost!

  • I found and updated the submission form for CHS publications - please replace "fill out this this form" for the other contact instructions on the publications page! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScy0DBdFNvDPsd-YkqiDkykoUmpjEfZCObOBefW7w-ekw5v0w/viewform

  • I've also added a scheduled quarterly message on Slack (first to go out Monday morning) reminding researchers to use the form! We will need to have a process point to review new entries and update the zotero library a few days after this announcement goes out. (@sradifera please remind me to meet with you about this later next week!)

  • And we discussed setting the page up to split DOI-having from other line items - So the whole publications page should now go (1) What to cite (2) Published articles (3) Conference symposia/talks/posters
