The tray user interface in KDE in Ubuntu 21.10 is confusing, though usable after I figured out. After closing the main window while radio is playing, I first get this notification.
That's not truthful. Clicking on the notification does nothing, and I cannot pause playback. Then I get a generic media player tray icon from KDE, where at first glance I can't do anything. Note how the main controls (including pause) are greyed out. Though if I open the menu there or use the right click menu, I do get controls I can use. I can stop playback and I can open the main window. The Quit doesn't do anything.
So, now I know how to use this, but a tray icon from this application would still be better than this.
I'm using AwesomeWM, and it would be great to be able to control the app from a notification area icon.
