[Bug]: lsd unicode characters not piped correctly in windows

What happened?

Terminal: Microsoft Windows Terminal 1.19.10821.0
Shell   : Git-Bash

lsd is showing unicode icons correctly, folders for example.

However when the same command is piped through a pipe the output gets converted to its ascii representation (in the case for the folder icon it shows <U+F115>

What expected?

Unicode characters should be passed as is through a pipe not its unicode representation.
Or at least it would be great to have an option for that.
