[Question] Web UI gets stuck on Loading

I was able to flash the latest firmware bin file to the ESP8266 board using the flash_download_tools_v3.6.7 and the BTT writer
Then I logged into the wifi of the ESP3D using the 12345678 password and it loaded the webpage for 192.168.0.1. Everything up to this point appeared to be working right.
I then uploaded the 404.htm, favicon.ico and index.html.gz files. I then refreshed the page and it just says loading and get's stuck there.
I have tried it in Internet Explorer, edge and Chrome. I am using Windows 10.
I have tried a brand new ESP01-S and no change.
I have the ESP8266 module hooked up to a TFT35 V3 screen that is attached to an SKR PRO V1.2
I looked at a previous question that had been posted about this exact same thing and tried going to http://192.168.0.1/?forcefallback=yes to delete the html.gz file and replaced it with a new one with no change

please do a screenshot of the embedded page before upload and after upload, you do not need the 404 page so far

Nothing popup to my eyes, please remove the favico.ico and current index.html.gz and upload this one

It is smaller - it is to see if the FS is somehow corrupted or file is damaged

Where this bin come from ? did you compiled by your self ?

I tried logging into it again without the 404.htm and I think it worked. This is what I get now

The bin came from github. I did not change it

Yes so it is ok it was a FS corruption - with SPIFFS the size is actually lower than what it display so it is easy to get corrupted if overloaded

This is not from me - so I do not think it is latest version of FW, what version webUI give you ?
EDIT: it is 2 years old ...so definitely outdated
