Let user select type of attendee

Hey,

I'm managing the administration for a mixed (male/female) volleyball team.
When I want to schedule a new date, I need 3 female and 3 male attendees for a new date.
Beside the gender, we also need 1 opposit , 1 passer and 4 attackers.
Is there a way to add type to a attendee, so the possible date can sum up each group?
