Welcome to the e-Library System project! This project aims to provide a simple and efficient system for managing books in a virtual library.
• Add new books with details such as book name, author, publisher, year published, and category. • View a list of books in the library with pagination support. • Search for books by name or ID. • Delete books from the library.
• Python • Flask (web framework) • SQLAlchemy (ORM for database interaction) • SQLite (database) • HTML/CSS • Bootstrap (front-end framework)
- Clone this repository to your local machine.
- Install Python if you haven't already.
- Install Flask and other dependencies using pip install -r requirements.txt.
- Run the application by executing python main.py in your terminal.
- Access the application in your web browser at http://localhost:5000.
• Upon launching the application, you'll be able to view the list of books in the library. • Use the "New Record" button to add new books to the library. • Search for books by entering keywords in the search bar. • Delete books by clicking the "Delete" button next to each book entry.
