I have also done this and the command:
truecrack -t --truecrypt /dev/sda/volume.tc -c alphabet -s 6

isn't working. Not sure if this is because of the volume name or if I am
missing something in the command.

Ok so I made some progress but still isn't working because it can't find the
file.

I'm using:
truecrack -t "dev/sda1" -c alphabet -s 6 -m 16 -H

Ok so I got it running using:

truecrack -t "/dev" -c
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ1234567890 -m 15 -H -v

*This is for a complete drive encryption and will take a while*
