Lytmi Neo

Hi there,

I am in a "local" journey, and after 2 years using Tuya, decided to try local.
I have 3 Tuya devices:

• Small bulb
• Heater
• Lytmy Neo (an HDMI Light strip, that you add at the back of your TV)

I have first tried "Local Tuya", and after A LOT of effort (I'm no programmer), managed to be able to change the modes (video / scene / colour), and is good enough. When I tried the light and mainly, the heater, things went sideways. Wrong modes mapped, temperature off by /10. Light was no breeze also, as modes weren't aligned, ending up in useless options that would just make confusion.

That's when I tried Tuya Local. I was so impressed by so quickly it added my devices, and the Heater, is flawless. Perfect settings/options, exactly as the SmartLife (cloud) app. Same with the bulb. perfect sync with scenes.

The down part, was the Lytmi.

Cloud Tuya reads this device as:

The Tuya Local gives me one of those "Device Options"

And in none of them I can see the right modes. Even when I try the "Smart Led Strip" :(
No luck there also...

And differently from "Local Tuya", I can't add manually. I work-around adding manually a new entity as Select type and their values and friendly name on the proper DP:

Interestingly enough, the Smart Bulb does give a more promissing option, "hdmi_sync_light":

But as i can't manually select this option when adding the Lytmi, I can't evolve much. And even if I could, I tried adding the bulb as this one, just to see what would happen, and the scenes/mode wasn't the same one as the Lytmi anyway, so even if I could select that option, I don't think would be the right one.

So my ask is...

I would like to add those modes into the Lytmi device. Would anyone be able to help me on this?

I would be delight to partnet with someone with coding skills to be able to crack this down.
I've managed to pull from Tuya Cloud all the proper DP values for the modes, so I guess the "research" mode is almost complete.I fail it in how to add that in Tuya Local. And as I can obviusly understand that not everyone has one of this at home just seating waiting to test, I would be happy to perform the require tests...

Finally, sorry for the long post and if I added this in the wrong place. I thought isn't a bug, and wasn't too sure if would land into "Ideas".

I'm starting a new instance of HA, and after 3y using, decided to start from scratch and use all these "lessons-learned". So I added Tuya Local, before Local Tuya, and to my surprise, the "hdmi_sync_light" type of device shows up, and now the "Mode Selection" show up perfectly.
The only thing is that on the Tuya App (SmartLife), there are "Screen" modes: Weak, Normal, Strong. Which this integrations call it: Movie, Sport, Game. Which it kind of makes sense and works fine, so, I don't mind :)

So yeah, happy days :)
