Chapter 1 is free. Download is fine.

Chapter 6 is locked, so there are no pictures at all

Perhaps we should have forcefully thrown an error in case a chapter has no pages in website plugin ?
In that case there are a few plugin to review 🤷

Your problem is totally different and unrelated to the false download.
You miss pictures. Aaaaaaand i am totally unable to reproduce it.
