Cannot drag on Mac in time-limited quiz only #103

Woah, what a detailed description. I don't have access to a Mac but I do have access to iOS on an iPad. Is it only on time limited (seems unlikely but who knows). Can you export some questions to xml and attach it here? In a meeting at this very moment but will watch video in detail as soon as I can. |

My apologies for the delay in responding to you. I have now watched your video. Do you know what theme you installation of Moodle is running ?. If you are an administrator you can find out by going to /theme/index.php https://docs.moodle.org/402/en/Drag_and_drop_into_text_question_type To confirm that this problem does not show up with that question type (I suspect it will not) I remembered that I do have access to a Mac actually, but I have not tried the testing yet. If there is a chance you can give me teacher access to one of your courses to test myself please email me at marcusavgreen at gmail.com. |

Thank you for your message and I’m very sorry it took me 2 months to come back to you… I recorded a short video now + I have given you access so you can test everything. I reinstalled my OS meanwhile and I still have it so… I think this is a bigger Mac issue, not my computer related… and that drag and drop into text is working on my computer...
We gave you access to my Moodle. The credentials I will send you via email :)

From the root of your Moodle.
If you don't have admin access can you ask someone who does have it. If it is a custom theme it will be useful to know what it is based on. Can you test a core Drag into text question

I have watched the video. Would you be able to export a question in xml file format and send it to me (or give me access to a teacher role that allows export. Also would you be able to find out what theme you are using. I have not tested on a Mac yet, but as I said, it turns out I do have access to one, so I will give it a test soon. |

I have started testing. I just noticed you mentioned it being a time limited quiz. That shouldn't make any difference, but I will configure for that when I go back to it. |

Hi, I have moodle 4.0 installed and I have tested that on 3 different computers- mac desktop, mac air laptop and actually few windows laptops. only on macs there is this issue, windows works fine (to my surprise).
On time-limited quizzes, i cannot drag and drop the options. here is the 2 mins video that shows everything. when I preview the question, it works fine, but in a time-limited quiz, it doesn't work...

Is it just my specific issue (but then why would I have that on 2 computers...) or in general an issue for all Apple users? or maybe issue for apple users with sth else that I installed (considering that it works fine for Windows users...)
I will try to update to moodle 4.2, i just don't have the developers free to do that right now...
