Would be nice to follow Moodle core direction and migrate all reports to the report builder API.

This is clearly the way forward long term. I have some familiarity with the reportbuilder API and created a demonstration repo a while back. However I suspect such a development would take between 3 and 5 days in total. So many ideas so little time. This is a classic project for crowd sourcing.
