Current firmwares have an automatic input sense ability. It operates by cycling through the available inputs looking for active sync until a timeout is hit, after which it needs to be restarted by user interaction. A feature to set that timeout or disable it would help some specific cases where user interaction with the OSSC is not desirable and a new source cannot be guaranteed within the timeout period.
Optionally, a feature to "disable" inputs that it must cycle through would also be useful, though not entirely necessary.
